For DocuSign, Adobe Sign and your email

The box says “draw your signature.” Upload one instead.

Every e-signing tool offers a font or a trackpad scrawl. Neither is yours. A real signature file, drawn on your name, takes a minute.

Twenty original directions for your full name, in about a minute. Free to try; the kit is $19, if one of them is worth keeping.

Drawn for Samuel Price

Three directions the studio would draw for e-signing and email

Confident · flowing · fully readable

A readable signature that still looks handwritten at the size an e-signing box shows it.

Understated · sharp · signature-legible

For the email footer: small, quiet and clearly a hand, not a typeface.

Commanding · sharp · signature-legible

The one for the PDF proposal and the letter, where the signature closes the document.

Studio drawings of an example name, made by the same engine that draws the paid kit and chosen on the briefs that suit this moment. Yours are drawn on your own name — twenty of them — and you choose.

The moment

Why this is the time

The e-signing tools give you two choices. A script font, which is the same script font everyone else chose, or a trackpad drawing that looks like what it is. Millions of agreements are signed every year with one of those, and almost none of them look like the person.

The third choice is an uploaded image, and that is what the kit is: a transparent PNG at the size the tools want, drawn on your actual name as a single gesture, with a vector copy for anything printed. The same file goes under your email.

You see twenty directions first, free. The files arrive only if one of them is worth keeping.

The kit

What you keep

  • Transparent PNG sized for DocuSign, Adobe Sign, PandaDoc, Dropbox Sign and Preview.
  • SVG for letterhead, proposals and anything that will be printed.
  • A small version for the email footer and a full version for the document.
  • The written report and the lesson, so the signature on screen is one you can also write.

How it works

Three steps, one question

  1. Type the full name. No brief, no style quiz. The name is the brief.
  2. See twenty directions, drawn in about a minute, from fully readable to signature-legible.
  3. Keep three. The files, the report and the lesson arrive straight after checkout.

Questions

Asked before buying

Which file do I upload to DocuSign or Adobe Sign?

The transparent PNG. Both tools accept an uploaded signature image in their signature settings, and a transparent background is what makes it sit on the document rather than in a white box.

Is an uploaded signature image valid?

The e-signing platforms treat an uploaded image like any other adopted signature; the legal weight comes from the platform’s audit trail, not the picture. Whether a given counterparty or jurisdiction requires something else is for you to confirm.

Can I put it in Gmail or Outlook?

Yes. The small PNG is made for a footer. Keep it modest — a signature in an email is a sign-off, not a banner.

How much is it?

Seeing the twenty directions is free. The kit is $19.
